Candy Bar Wrapper

Paper Perfection had fun making a candy bar wrapper for Brownwood Regional Medical Center's employee appreciation program. These were wrapped around hershey milk chocolate bars and handed out during a monthly meeting to employees who did a GREAT job over the past month.

Christina's Disneyland Wedding Save the Date

I’m so excited to get to work with Christina and Ransen for their upcoming wedding at Disneyland! Christina recently contacted me to help with her save the date. She knew she wanted blush pink and ivory along with their engagement picture and a calendar, and together we designed this save the date.

In addition to her save the date, I surprised her with a wrap around label as they are popular right now for envelopes. I thought it would be fun to make a matching label that would give the save the dates a little added touch of excitement and elegance as each potential guest received their card. Christina already purchased white envelopes, so I reversed the colors from her save the date so that the pink label would stand out against the envelope.

Christina is planning on printing her save the dates as 4x6 photos, then she is going to back them with a magnet made for 4x6 pictures so that her guests can use them as refrigerator magnets and remind them of the upcoming event.

If you are planning a destination wedding like Christina and Ransen and would like a personalized save the date for your event, contact Paper Perfection at jtanddolly@yahoo.com

Here is a quote from Christina, "After hours searching unsuccessfully for the perfect save the date, I am just ecstatic with what you have put together! I love it!"

Harry Potter Party Printables

Here are a few fun printables if you are a Harry Potter fan and are planning on having a "Premiere Party" or a birthday party for the upcoming release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". It is illegal to profit from the sell of trademarked images so Paper Perfection designed these and other printables without Warner Brother images, but to match the theme and feel of a Harry Potter Wizardly Party from the Hogwarts train ticket/invitation, to the candy buffet/food labels and the pumpkin juice bottle wrapper.

A movie party is always lots of fun to plan as you don't have to worry with lots of decorations or games since you will be going to the theater to see the movie. You can send out the movie style ticket below as an invitation for your guests. Then have the guests assemble at your house for some pizza, cake and presents. You can decorate the table with colors matching your invitations, and add fun Harry Potter things like owls, candles, etc. Watch one of the Harry Potter movies to get inspiration for your table decorations as there are lots of great scenes with Harry and his friends as they enjoy some wizardly fun meals at Hogwarts. Before you leave to go to the movie, have the guests stop by a "candy buffet" so that they can pick and choose some treats to take with them to the movie's.

Click on either of these images to get a more close up view, then click the magnifying glass on the area you would like to enlarge. These printables can be customized by changing the blue color to match your party color preferences. Here are a few examples:

Christmas Gift - Family Monogram

If you are looking for a great Christmas gift for friends or family, consider having Paper Perfection design a family monogram for $15 that will be sent to you as a jpeg or pdf. Then you can print it as an 8x10 photo (which is around $3 at Walmart for one hour photo developing) and frame it for a unique personalized gift. (The frame below was purchased at Michaels.) If you want to order more than one, you can get two for $22 or three for $30. The colors below are neutral and should go well in most homes, but they can be changed to fit any color scheme.

For This I am Thankful

Thanksgiving is really the best holiday if you think about it. There's no rush to buy the perfect gifts, no candy to buy and collect, no fireworks to amass or go see and no Easter baskets to fill. You just get to spend a day being thankful and full with hopefully the ones you love.

I thought it would be fun to celebrate this Thanksgiving season by making a simple album that everyone in my family and extended family can contribute to by having them write what they are thankful for on cards and take pictures of everyone throughout the day. Then I will pair a photo of each person, their family or a picture of what they are thankful for with their card in a 4 x 6 photo album.

Here is an example of a 4 x 6 photo album that I found at the Dollar General for $1.50. Target also has great ones for $3.99.

Here is a picture of the title page.

Here is a picture of the journaling cards that I designed, printed several copies onto white card stock, and trimmed out.

Now the album is ready to be filled up with what each person is thankful for and their photos. I will either place the blank journaling cards on our Thanksgiving table and ask everyone who's there to grab a card and jot down a few things they are thankful for, or I will put a card at each place setting with a pen. The nice thing about this is that it will give everyone something to do while waiting for the turkey to finish cooking.

This would make a wonderful gift for whoever is hosting your Thanksgiving celebration!

This family picture was taken by "Photos By Ruel".

Of course, you don't have to limit this idea to Thanksgiving Day. You could make the whole week of Thanksgiving—or even the entire month of November—as a time to encourage your family to use the cards to write down daily gratitudes.

I have enjoyed starting my blog and thought I would like to do something special for my new and old friends and family who have taken time to view my blog and the different posts. I’m so thankful for you!

If you would like me to send you these cards and title page for free so that you can make your very own mini Thanksgiving album, leave a comment below with your email address and I will email them to you!

Let me know if you want them in color or black and white. If you get the black and white cards you can embellish them with colored scrapbook paper to match your 4 x 6 album.
