Movie Party / Family Movie Night Printables

I made these printables awhile back for a movie birthday party and then rediscovered them before Christmas and used them to make fun "Family Movie Night" baskets with candy, movies, drinks, popcorn, etc. that I gave to several families for Christmas gifts and auctioned off at a school fundraiser.

I included a roll of tickets in each basket that I purchased at Wal-Mart to encourage chores around the house as it’s hard to escape into a movie when you’ve got dishes and laundry calling you from the other room. You can work together as a family to get household chores done before the movie starts which is good motivation! Even young kids can help pick up toys, dust and put away laundry.  You can motivate your kids to help with chores by “selling snacks and drinks” they don’t normally get to eat during your family movie night.  Have each child earn “tickets” for each chore they accomplish towards snacks and drinks at your concession stand.  A good way to get the kids excited is set up the concession stand the night before movie night (after the kids have gone to bed).  Then when they wake up they can see what fun items they can purchase at the store if they accomplish a few chores around the house or yard that day.

Anyways, I have lots of fun printables for a movie birthday party or family movie night including an invite, family movie night idea sheet, cupcake wrappers (for "popcorn" cupcakes), a movie score card, a movie question sheet, food labels, water bottle and candy bar wrappers, fun popcorn recipes, bag toppers and more!  If you are interested in having a movie party, hosting a family movie night or giving family movie nights as a gift or fundraiser contact jtanddolly@yahoo.com for details and pricing.

Here are a few of the printables in action (I purchased the popcorn tub for $1 at Dollar Tree):

Fancy Nancy Printables

I made a few new printables for a "Fancy Nancy" party and thought I would show off the latest items designed by Paper Perfection for a fancy soiree (that's fancy for party).  I think a Fancy Nancy party would be the most splediferous affair!  If I hosted a Fancy Nancy party I would have lots of great party favors like fun sunglasses, feather boas, Fancy Nancy books and pink and purple tutus with bows.  There are lots of great tutorials online for how to make your very own tutus out of tulle and you can find feather boas at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores and some dollar stores.  It would be lots of fun to use feather boas, tulle, Fancy Nancy books and bows to decorate the table and party room.

If you are planning a Fancy Nancy party or would like custom printables for your next party or event contact Paper Perfection at jtanddolly@yahoo.com for details and pricing.  These are just a few of the designs I can make for your party.  I can design a special bookplate for a Fancy Nancy party favor with the wording, "This tome (that's fancy for book) belongs to".

12 Months of Dates Starter Kit

I just had to show off the Christmas gift that I made for some of my family....a "12 Months of Dates Starter Kit".  The kit came with two expandable file folders, one for "Him", one for "Her" and a letter that said,

"Merry Christmas!  I’m so excited about giving you “12 Months of Dates” for Christmas!  I know how much fun we all used to have in our younger years on dates so I thought I would create a few fun dates for you as we are often too busy with our families and jobs to plan or even go on regular dates.  Now you don’t have an excuse!  I’m giving each of you a file folder box with 6 months of dates and the months that you are responsible for hosting your six dates.  I promise that you can find one day out of 30 that will work for a date each month, and plan six (of the 12) dates in a year with all of ideas and extras that are included in your folder."

The letter also included a list of rules for planning and going on the dates.  In each box were six dates to go on included a bowling date called Love on the Lane, a Dollar Menunaire Date (shown below in the picture on the right) and lots of other fun dates.  I included an invite with each date and other fun printables like gift tags and games to play.  I can't wait to hear how the dates turn out!

Updated Mike & Ike Box Labels

I just had to show off Paper Perfection's latest "Mike & Ike" labels for the 6 oz. movie style box of candy.  I had two clients in one week that both wanted a Mike & Ike label...one for a valentine gift and the other for a wedding favor.  The original labels that I designed were already great but I decided to update them with an ingredients label on the backside and a space for a short note.  If you are interested in a custom label for your favorite movie style box of candy contact Paper Perfection at jtanddolly@yahoo.com for pricing and details.

Olympic Party Invitation and Printables

I don't know about your family but my family is super excited about the Summer Olympic Games in London this summer.  My little boy even decided that he wants to have an Olympic party so I thought what would be better than hosting a London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony Party.  When I was little, I remember getting together with other families for a fun evening of watching the opening ceremony combined with lots of snack foods.  Here are a few printables that I have designed specifically for the London Olympic games including an invite featuring some of the top ten sites to see in London like the London Towers, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus.  If your child loves sports as much as mine, I can also design more generic Olympic printables with utilizing the US flag like I did in some of the designs below for a birthday party.  I'm also working on a few more fun things that I will post in the lead up to the Olympic games this summer.

If you are interested in the printables, contact Paper Perfection at jtanddolly@yahoo.com for pricing and details.

I couldn't resist making a few more items since there is plenty of time between now and the Olympics so here are a few more items.

If you are like our family and really REALLY love the Olympics and plan on having an opening ceremony party but also might have a viewing party here and there for the different events.  Here is another invition that you can use for additional events.
