Back to School Teacher Gift Tags for Sharpies, Markers, Pens and Scissors

Back to school is just around the corner, so I thought I would make a few gift tags for my son's teachers this coming year.  I was able to score some great pens and sharpie markers during Office Depot's yearly back to school sales.  Here are the tags I created for pens, pencils, sharpie markers, and scissors.  If you need a tag or two for your child's teacher, contact me at jtanddolly@yahoo.com for pricing and details.

And here they are ready to go as gifts for my son's teacher for "Meet the Teacher Night" at school.

Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Decorations

My son is a Cub Scout and one of their favorite events every year is the Pinewood Derby, so I made a few printables for their race this year including a 18x24" photobooth sign, certificates, pit pass, food labels (for their concession stand), and a banner.

My favorite printables that I created were these "oil" cans that we made using oversized tin cans that we recycled from the elementary school lunches.

You can see them in the picture below as they were part of our photo booth.

We also found great awards on Pinterest that we made from spark plugs.

Baseball Theme Teacher Appreciation Week

If you have read my blog, you know how much I love employee appreciation and especially teacher appreciation.  This year I helped with my son's teacher appreciation week with a baseball theme of "Thanks for hitting it out of the park this year with our kids!"  Here are a few of the items I designed and made for the week.

Here is the invite I created with the different special daily treats.

I started by making a few pennants used them to create a cute centerpiece with a  glass jar, foam finger and baseballs.

Then I used it to create the fun vignette pictured below.

The next thing I created was a banner that I used as part of a backdrop for the food table by hanging  it, red and white striped wrapping paper and fun paper circles that I found at Hobby Lobby.

Here is another view of the room.

The one thing we had all week long was a drink buffet with sonic ice.
The staff loved stopping in for their favorite soda, lemonade and tea in-between classes,
and who doesn't love sonic ice.

I also created some fun signs and food labels.  If you are in charge of your teacher appreciation week and need some custom creations like an invite for the weekly events, signs and food labels contact Paper Perfection at jtanddolly@yahoo.com.
